DEATH STRANDING is a game franchise that debuted in 2019, exceeding 20 million players and spawning the sequel DEATH STRANDING 2: ON THE BEACH in June 2025, with upcoming projects such as a live-action in the works. Publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment describes the game:

From legendary game creator Hideo Kojima comes an all-new experience for PS4 and PS5, starring Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, Léa Seydoux, and Lindsay Wagner.
In the future, a mysterious event known as the Death Stranding has opened a doorway between the living and the dead, leading to grotesque creatures from the afterlife roaming the fallen world marred by a desolate society.
As Sam Bridges, your mission is to deliver hope to humanity by connecting the last survivors of a decimated America.
Can you reunite the shattered world, one step at a time?
