Dengeki Daisy anime revealed its first main trailer and key visual, four additional cast members, and a January 2027 release date. The anime will adapt the manga through its conclusion and stream on Crunchyroll. Two consecutive cours have been confirmed, meaning that the anime will run through Spring 2026.
The newly announced cast members are:
- Tomokazu Sugita as Soichiro Kurebayashi, Teru’s late older brother
- Yuka Terasaki as Riko Onizuka, a school counselor who previously worked with Soichiro and Kurosaki
- Setsuji Sato as Masuda, a café owner with ties to Soichiro and Kurosaki
- Kohei Amasaki as Akira, a mysterious boy who takes an interest in Teru

The key visual also features all four characters alongside protagonists Teru Kurebayashi and Tasuku Kurosaki, voiced by Yoshino Aoyama and Taku Yashiro, respectively.
The story follows Teru Kurebayashi, a 16-year-old girl whose brother dies and leaves her with a phone connected to the mysterious hacker “Daisy.” The anime will be animated by Studio DEEN and directed by Sota Ueno, who previously directed Days with My Stepsister and Shiboyugi: Playing Death Games to Put Food on the Table. Dengeki Daisy is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kyosuke Motomi. It was serialized in Shogakukan’s Betsucomi shojo magazine from May 2007 to October 2013, releasing a total of 16 volumes. Viz Media released the series in English, describing the story of Volume 1:

Motomi is also the author of QQ Sweeper and its sequel Queen’s Quality manga series, both of which were serialized in the same magazine. His currently ongoing series is Yaoyoruzu Toriatsukai Setsumeisho.
