The 13th 2022 issue of the Weekly Shonen Jump just came out in Japan and with it an official confirmation that the Dr. Stone manga will reach its climax next week on March 7. The series is written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Boichi, and it currently sits at 231 chapters (including today’s). It entered the final arc in September last year, and it will get a 26-page chapter for the next issue, along with a color page.
You can read the manga on VIZ or MANGA Plus, and they describe the story:
One fateful day, all of humanity was petrified by a blinding flash of light. After several millennia, high schooler Taiju awakens and finds himself lost in a world of statues. However, he’s not alone! His science-loving friend Senku’s been up and running for a few months and he’s got a grand plan in mind—to kickstart civilization with the power of science!
Fire Force from Kodansha ended last week, and Dr. Stone is likely to end soon after the manga climax. More WSJ shonen hits are in their final stages, with Jujutsu Kaisen also planned to end within the next 2 years, My Hero Academia in its final act, and One Piece in its final stage.
