Previously announced Dr. STONE Ryusui TV special will be airing this July in Japan. The special episode will be animated by TMS Entertainment, The new information was revealed during AnimeJapan 2022 Dr. Stone panel and was presented by anime voice cast – Yusuke Kobayashi (Senku Ishigami) Gen Sato (Chrome), Kengo Kawanishi (Gen Asagiri), and Ryota Suzuki (Ryusui).

The first season of Dr. Stone anime aired in the Summer 2019 anime season. Dr. Stone: Stone Wars sequel follow in January of 2021. Studios 8 Pan and TMS Entertainment animated the adaptation of Richiro Inagaki’s manga, which recently ended after 5 years of serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump. Season 3 was announced along with the Ryusui TV special and is set for the 2023 release.
Viz is publishing the manga in English and describes the plot as:
One fateful day, all of humanity was petrified by a blinding flash of light. After several millennia, high schooler Taiju awakens and finds himself lost in a world of statues. However, he’s not alone! His science-loving friend Senku’s been up and running for a few months and he’s got a grand plan in mind—to kickstart civilization with the power of science!
