Dropkick on My Devil anime launched a crowdfunding campaign to fund new OVA episodes that, if successful, will become the new season. The target is 30 million yen for each episode and once 12 are produced they will become the fourth season of the series. New episodes will not be broadcast on TV and will instead be distributed online and at events.
Fans who pledge donations will get access to special events and content, as well as an opportunity to name the new season and its episodes. Production of the third season also included a crowdfunding campaign, which was successful in raising $350,000, which was well over the goal.
