Eyeshield 21 by Riichiro Inagaki and Yusuke Murata will be releasing the new manga one-shot in January. It will have 55 pages and release in the 9th edition of 2024’s Weekly Shonen Jump on January 29. The one-shot is titled BRAIN x BRAVE, and it previously received an animated trailer by Yusuke Murata. He also directed the trailer, working with animators from Village Studio and Kome Studio. The one-shot is meant to commemorate the 21st anniversary of the series, which first started on July 23, 2002. You can watch the animated trailer below.
Eyeshield 21 is a manga series written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Yusuke Murata, and it was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from July 2002 to June 2009. It ended with a total of 333 chapters and has 37 compiled volumes. It also has an anime adaptation, which was co-produced by TV Tokyo, NAS, and studio Gallop and ran for 145 episodes from April 2005 to March 2008. Eyeshield 21 also has two OVA episodes and several video games. VIZ Media licensed the manga in English, while Crunchyroll streams the anime. VIZ describes the story:
