Ever wondered what a Genshin Impact anime would look like? The team behind the game shared a glimpse of just that with their new promotional trailer.
Genshin Impact’s latest promotional trailer features a number of characters from Inazuma. What really catches the eye here is the art style used to depict these characters. The game’s familiar faces are drawn in a style resembling mainstream Japanese anime, which is a stark departure from the 3D models from in-game.
Genshin Impact’s anime-style trailer came as a part of their promotional live stream for the 2.5 update. Much of the focus is on the land of Inazuma, with characters such as Ayaka, Kazuha, Raiden Shogun, Kokomi, and Yae Miko all featuring. The trailer also allows fans a look at Kamisato Ayato, a brand new character that Genshin Impact has just revealed.
This trailer, though just a little short of being forty seconds long, shows just how much possibility there is in a potential Genshin Impact anime. The art style looks gorgeous when applied to the game’s characters, and so much of Genshin Impact’s story could fit really well in an anime-style show.
Of course, just because the game got an anime-style trailer doesn’t mean it will get an anime one day. But whether or not the popular game ever gets an anime adaptation, this little trailer showed a promising glimpse of the direction the game could take, and is certainly one way to get people talking.
