A new crossover visual featuring THE GHOST IN THE SHELL and Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia has been revealed. Both TV anime are currently airing as part of the Summer 2026 anime season, with animation production handled by Science SARU. The crossover artwork was drawn by Abel Góngora, director of Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia.
The two series come from notably different source material. THE GHOST IN THE SHELL is based on Masamune Shirow’s cyberpunk manga, while Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia adapts Tomato Soup’s historical manga.
Alongside the collaboration, a new episode visual and scene cuts were released for Episode 6 of THE GHOST IN THE SHELL, titled “DUMB BARTER.” The visual was created by Mizuho Hayashi of maxilla.
