The upcoming Golden Kamuy live-action movie has released two special trailers ahead of its January 19, 2024 theatrical release. Shigeaki Kubo is directing the film at production company CREDEUS.
The first trailer is the “Fierce Fight” edition, while the second one is the “Mission” edition. Tsutomu Kuroiwa is writing the script, while Yutaka Yamada is composing the music. The film’s theme song is “Kagayakerumono” performed by ACIDMAN. The cast for the film includes:

Details on the live action movie for Golden Kamuy were released on April 19, 2022, following the conclusion of the manga series. The manga series is written and illustrated by Satoru Noda, and was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump from August 2014 to April 2022.

In the early twentieth century, Russo-Japanese War veteran Saichi Sugimoto searches the wilderness of the Japanese frontier of Hokkaido for a hoard of hidden gold. With only a cryptic map and a native Ainu girl to help him, Saichi must also deal with every murderous cutthroat, bandit and rogue who knows about the treasure!
The series has four anime seasons: the first and second seasons airing from April to December 2018, third season airing from October to December 2020, and the fourth season from Octover 2022 to June 2023. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime, describing it as:
