The upcoming Doctor Elise anime has released a special Christmas visual and a voice drama. They depict the main characters Elise de Lawrence (CV: Yui Ishikawa) and Linden de Romanov (CV: Yohei Azakami) sneaking out of a Christmas party.
The anime will premiere on January 10, 2024, with studio Maho Film animating it. Kumiko Habara will serve as the director, Deko Akao on the series composition, and Yuko Watanabe is in charge of the character designs. The theme songs are “believer” sung by Yui Ishikawa as the opening, and “Listen” by Maju Arai as the ending.

The Doctor Elise anime is based on the Doctor Elise: The Royal Lady with the Lamp novel by Yuin. It was first published on Kakao’s KakaoPage service from December 2015 to April 2016. A manhwa adaptation illustrated by Mini was serialized in KakaoPage from September 2017 to February 2018. Piccoma has licensed the novel in Japanese, while Tappytoon licensed it in English.
Tappytoon describes the novel’s plot as:

But just as she’s about to meet an untimely death over the ocean, she wakes up as Princess Elise once again?!
