A little more than ten years have passed since the Attack on Titan anime’s April 2013 premiere. The last episode, which was broadcast as an 85-minute special earlier in Japan, is currently available to stream on Crunchyroll under the title Attack on Titan The Final Season: The Final Chapters Part 2. The anime gained a huge fan base over time and is currently among the most well-known anime series in thw world.

Attack on Titan is based on a manga series by Hajime Isayama, serialized in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine from 2009 to 2021. The story focuses on Eren Yeager and his friends who join the military to fight against Titans after their hometown is destroyed. As they continue their fight, they uncover the secrets of Titans and their origin. The plot tackles difficult subjects like war, sacrifice, and the cyclical nature of hatred.

Crunchyroll describes the plot of the anime as:
Many years ago, the last remnants of humanity were forced to retreat behind the towering walls of a fortified city to escape the massive, man-eating Titans that roamed the land outside their fortress. Only the heroic members of the Scouting Legion dared to stray beyond the safety of the walls – but even those brave warriors seldom returned alive. Those within the city clung to the illusion of a peaceful existence until the day that dream was shattered, and their slim chance at survival was reduced to one horrifying choice: kill – or be devoured!
