Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End TV anime revealed the preview for episode 10, which is titled “A Powerful Mage,” on Tuesday. The episode is scheduled to premiere on Friday, November 10, and will be available to stream on Crunchyroll, Bilibili Global, Muse Asia, and Netflix. The synopsis of the upcoming episode is as follows:
The great wizard Flamme. One day, she meets Frieren, the lone survivor of a village of elves that was attacked by the demon king’s army. What did Flamme teach Frieren? The battle between Frieren and Aura comes to an end.
Keiichiro Saito (Bocchi the Rock!) is directing the series at studio Madhouse (A Place Further Than The Universe) with Tomohiro Suzuki (One Punch Man) as the scriptwriter, Evan Call (Violet Evergarden) as the music composer, and Reiko Nagasawa (takt op. Destiny) as the character designer. Atsumi Tanezaki (Anya Forger from Spy x Family) voices the titular character Frieren while YOASOBI performs the opening theme song “Yuusha” and milet sings the ending theme song titled “Anytime Anywhere.”

After the party of heroes defeated the Demon King, they restored peace to the land and returned to lives of solitude. Generations pass, and the elven mage Frieren comes face to face with humanity’s mortality. She takes on a new apprentice and promises to fulfill old friends’ dying wishes. Can an elven mind make peace with the nature of life and death? Frieren embarks on her quest to find out.
