High Card Season 2 revealed its second trailer and the new cast and character information in line with its premiere on January 8, 2024. The anime announced that it will be getting a second season during AnimeJapan 2023 and it previously released a key visual this October.
The first season was an original work by TMS, Homura Kawamoto, and Hikaru Takeno. It was animated by Studio Hibari with Junichi Wada as the director. Naoki Kuroyagi handled the series composition, Nozomi Kono was the character designer, and Tomoyuki Kunii was the director of photography. The anime released 12 episodes and aired from January up to March this year.
Cast additions include Kaori Nazuka, who voiced Uta in One Piece Film: Red, will play Gao Wang, a player known as the “Shadow User,” and Kensho Ono, who is well-known for voicing Ryuunosuke Akutagawa from Bungou Stray Dogs, Floch Forster from Attack on Titan, Mikaela Hyakuya from Owari no Seraph, and Yuri Briar from Spy x Family, and who will play a mysterious superhero known as the “Sonic Amigo.” Some of the first season cast included:

High Card, a spy organization under the direct control of the royal family, is ordered to collect cards scattered throughout the country.
