The first trailer for the Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable anime was revealed on Monday along with a new key visual and additional cast members. Studios SILVER LINK and BLADE will be animating Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable which is set to release in January 2024 after it was previously announced the series would air this year. Ayane Sakura is voicing the main female protagonist Minami Fuyuki while Nobunaga Shimazaki is voicing the main male protagonist Tsubasa Shiki. Newly announced cast members included in the trailer are the following:
- Yumiri Hanamori as Sayuri Akino
- Reina Ueda as Rena Natsukawa

Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable is based on the manga written and illustrated by Kai Ikada. The series first began serialization in 2019 on the Shonen Jump+ website and mobile app and has since released a total of 99 chapters and 10 volumes. The first volume of the manga had such high demand that it received an immediate reprint.
Manga Plus is currently publishing the chapters in English and describes the story as:
High school boy Tsubasa moves to Kitami City up in Hokkaido, where he meets a “gal” at a bus stop. The sight of her standing alone against the white snowscape, bare-legged despite the freezing cold, captures his heart.
