Level Infinite has revealed the schedule and details for the upcoming Honor of Kings Invitational Midseason tournament, which will take place at the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2024 from August 1 to 4. The game has the largest prizepool at the event, with the total set at $3,000,000. Eleven teams are already set, with the last team being decided at the SEA Showdown on July 30. Indonesia’s Rex Regum Qeon and Philippines’ BOOM Esports will face each other for the final spot.
To celebrate the event, Honor of Kings has launched an exclusive Esports World Cup skin called Heavenblade for Allain. They are also releasing a theme song for the Honor of Kings Esports called “Invincible,” which was produced by the Grammy-award nominated producer Mighty Mike and mixed by the Grammy-award winning audio mixer Tom Norris.
The Honor of Kings tournament will feature a single round-robin format with teams split into two groups. They will compete in best-of-one matches to determine group standings, with the top 4 teams from each group advancing to the knockout stages. The participating teams are:

- France – Team Vitality
- Indonesia – KAGENDRA
- KSA – Team Falcons

- Myanmar – Impunity Esports
- SEA Showdown – TBC
The quarterfinals will begin on August 3 and feature best-of-three matches, after which the semifinals and finals will feature best-of-five matches.
While the event is ongoing, Honor of Kings players also have a chance to earn some rewards for themselves. Having started on July 26, players can earn the event currency by logging in, playing or spectating matches until August 4. They can then flip the 12 squads representing each squad to claim rewards.
The Honor of Kings Invitational Midseason 2024 tournament will be streamed live on YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, TikTok, as well as on the Honor of Kings’ in-game TV.
The Esports World Cup is an event taking place in Saudi Arabia over July and August and featuring numerous games with large prize polls for the professional esports teams competing. Besides Honor of Kings, some of the games include Apex Legends, Street Fighter, Tekken 8, League of Legends, Rainbox Six Siege, PUBG, Fortnite, among others.
Honor of Kings is a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game developed by TiMi Studio Group and published by Tencent Games for the iOS and Android. First released in mainland China on November 26, 2015, it has become one of the most relevant MOBA games in the country.
An international adaptation, Arena of Valor, was released in October 2016. It uses the same game engine, but has a different interface and heroes to accommodate the Western market.
Honor of Kings started rolling out worldwide from June 20, 2024, following early pre-releases in Brazil and Turkey.
