Popular Hololive VTuber Hoshimachi Suisei, alongside music group MAISONdes, will perform the official theme song of the upcoming Trapezium anime movie. A special video has been released following the announcement.
The title of the theme song is “Nanmonai,” and it will also feature sakuma, one of the members of MAISONdes. This marks the first time Suisei is performing an official theme song for an anime adaptation.
I joined MAISONdes to sing the theme song “Nanmonai feat. Suisei Hoshimachi, sakuma.” for the movie “Trapezium”.

Today is Takayama-san’s birthday, so happy birthday! I am also late to the party, but I have read the original work.
I myself was the kind of person who had dreamy plans to get on a big stage, so I felt very close to the main character, Yuu Higashi. I am very happy to have the opportunity to support her by singing the theme song. Let’s both work hard to make the movie a big hit and the song a big hit! I look forward to the release of the film!
Hoshimachi Suisei has been part of Hololive since December 2019, and was previously affiliated with INoNaKa (INNK) Music in May 2019. She is considered one of Hololive’s best-known singers, having released 13 official singles and two albums. Some of her most popular singles include “Next Color Planet,” “Ghost,” and “The Last Frontier.” She collaborated with Hololive English’s Mori Calliope on the tracks “Wicked” and “CapSule.” Suisei also made history as the very first VTuber to perform at The First Take where she sang an acoustic version of her single “Stellar, Stellar.”
The Trapezium movie will be released in Japanese theaters on May 10. CloverWorks is animating it under the direction of Masahiro Shinohara. It is based on a novel series by former Nogizaka46 members Kazumi Takayama. It was serialized in Kadokawa’s Da Vinci imprint from 2016 to 2018 and also published as a book.
