I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in The Real World, Too revealed a new trailer ahead of the April 6 premiere. The anime will be streaming on Fuji TV’s FOD three days in advance, starting on April 3. The ending theme song is “Hachimitsu” by Shikao Suga:
The adaptation was announced last August. Shin Itagaki is the chief director of the anime, while Shingo Tanabe is the director. The main cast includes Akari Kito as Kaori Hojo, Kaori Maeda as Lexia von Arcelia, and Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Yuya Tenjo. The recent trailer features the opening theme song “Gyakuten Geki” by Tsukuyom.
The I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in The Real World, Too anime is based on a light novel written by Miku and illustrated by Rein Kuwashima. KADOKAWA is currently serializing the novel in its Fantasia Bunko imprint and a manga adaptation by Kazuomi Minatogawa is also ongoing in Dengeki Comic Regulus.
Yen Press licensed both the light novel and the manga in English and describes the plot as:
A Chance to Come Back!
A mysterious door stands open, inviting a boy who’s been brutally bullied all his life to take a courageous step forward into the unknown. On the other side, he finds a hoard of priceless artifacts and a world as filled with magic as it is with monsters.
