I’m a Noble on the Brink of Ruin, So I Might as Well Try Mastering Magic revealed a new key visual, three additional cast members, and a January 6 premiere date. In Japan, episodes will stream one week early on U-NEXT and Anime Hodai, starting with a 2-episode premiere. Studios DEEN and Marvy Jack are in charge of the animation.

Kenichi Ishikura is directing the anime, with Midori Otsuka as the character designer, Alisa Okehazama on the music and Tatsuya Takahashi in charge of the series composition. The anime is adapting the I’m a Noble on the Brink of Ruin, So I Might as Well Try Mastering Magic light novel series by Nazuna Miki and Kabocha. J-Novel Club licensed the light novel in English.
The story follows a middle-aged commoner who gets reincarnated in the body of a young noble whose family is on the brink of collapse. Now he can use magic, and he will try to save his new family using his experience from his old world.
