The upcoming anime adaptation of Mika Yamamori’s In the Clear Moonlit Dusk (Uruwashi no Yoi no Tsuki) has revealed a new trailer and a January 11 premiere.
East Fish Studio will animate the series. Yusuke Maruyama, known for their work on Persona 5 and Lycoris Recoil, is directing the upcoming anime. Yuuki Fukuda (Plunderer, Insomniacs After School) will handle the Uruwashi no Yoi no Tsuki anime’s character design. Further production staff includes

The anime had previously revealed that UNISON SQUARE GARDEN would perform the opening and ending songs, “Uruwashi” and “Azalea no Kaze.”
In the Clear Moonlit Dusk Details
The In the Clear Moonlit Dusk manga is written by Mika Yamamori. Kodansha’s Dessert Magazine has serialized the title since its July 21, 2020, debut. The manga has been compiled into nine tankobon volumes. Kodansha USA began publishing the English print version of the manga in 2022.
Uruwashi no Yoi no Tsuki follows the romantic exploits of Yoi Takiguchi. Yoi-chan is a girl with a glaring issue: her looks and physique give her the appearance of an ikemen. Her manly appearance causes the people around her to refer to her as “prince.” But for her part, Yoi-chan ignores what people think of her. But when Yoi-chan runs into Ichimura-senpai, or rather, she runs into her, Yoi suddenly finds herself very aware of what he thinks of her. Unable to process her feelings, Yoi soon realizes that what she’s feeling is love.
Apart from the In the Clear Moonlit Dusk manga, Yamamori-sensei is known for other romance titles like Daytime Shooting Star and Hibi Chouchou x Hirunaka no Ryuusei.
