Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean revealed the opening theme ahead of the anime premiere. The first 12 episodes will stream on Netflix worldwide starting on December 1. The information came during a special pre-air stream for Stone Ocean, which streamed on Warnes Bros. Japan YouTube channel.
The Stone Ocean opening features the theme song by ichigo from Kishida Kyoudan & The Akeboshi Rockets. The song is also titled Stone Ocean and will be available digitally on December 1st. Kamikaze Douga animated the opening:
Fairouz Ai, Mariya Ise, and Mutsumi Tamura attended the special event, while Chiaki Matsuzawa hosted. The three voice Jolyne, Foo Fighters, and Ermes Costello respectively. The full stream is available on YouTube, but without English subtitles:
Tomokazu Seki to Voice Pucci
Tomokazu Seki is joining Jojo’s Bizzare Adventure: Stone Ocean as the villain Enrico Pucci. The voice actor is known for voicing Panda from Jujutsu Kaisen and Gilgamesh from Fate/Zero. A special Pucchi teaser was also revealed, along with a teaser video in which Seki is playing the character.
David Production is animating the Stone Ocean anime adaptation. Toshiyuki Kato is directing the anime, with Masanori Shino on character designs. Yasuko Kobayashi is in charge of series composition, with Kenichi Suzuki as chief director. Shunichi Ishimoto is designing stands, while Yugo Kanno will compose the music.
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Manga – 2 New Side Stories Coming
The first manga in the series, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Phantom Blood, came out in 1986. Hirohiko Araki has been writing the series ever since, with the latest installment, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 8: JoJolion ending recently. The stream also revealed that the manga is getting 2 new side stories soon. However, no additional info is available at this moment.
