JUJUTSU KAISEN has revealed a new teaser visual, dubbed as “super teaser visual,” for the Culling Game sequel anime at the ongoing Jump Festa ’25. Studio MAPPA is returning to animate. The visual features Yuji, and you can check it out below.
Besides the Culling Game sequel, the franchise also has the Hidden Inventory/Premature Death arc. The movie got a new visual and a May 2025 premiere date today as well.

The second season of the anime covered the Hidden Inventory/Premature Death arc in 5 episodes, before moving on to the Shibuya Incident arc for the remaining 18. The main cast reprised their roles, including:

Studio MAPPA animated both seasons of the TV anime and movie for the franchise, while Crunchyroll is streaming them. The story follows Yuji Itadori, a boy with insane physical abilities who ends up joining a school for jujutsu sorcerers after an encounter with Megumi Fushiguro, Satoru Gojo and Sukuna Ryomen. To delay getting executed for eating one of Sukuna’s fingers, Yuji takes on the task of finding and eating the remaining 19 fingers of the ‘strongest sorcerer in history’ in order to try and get rid of him. However, things don’t quite go as smoothly as they’d like.
Gege Akutami’s JUJUTSU KAISEN manga officially ended on September 30, 2024. It was serialized for 6-and-a-half-years since March 2018, with the story getting concluded in 30 volumes. Volumes 29 and 30 will both release on December 25, 2024.
