The production team behind Kanojo no Tomodachi (My Girlfriend’s Friend) has announced an October premiere for the erotic drama anime. Alongside that announcement, a visual and cast/staff members were announced.
Studio Quad, the company behind My Life as Inukai-san’s Dog, will animate the adaptation. Andou Takashi will direct the anime. Akira Koshiishi, Masayuki Fujita, and Ryuuji Iwata will be the anime’s chief animation directors. Additional production staff includes

The anime’s VA cast includes Ryuuga Nagaike as Takeru Hidaka, Sayaka Hashi as Kaori Koga, and Miki Hase as Tomoko Yoshioka.
WWWave Corp.’s Deregula is producing the anime. Different versions of the anime (broadcast and uncensored) are expected.
Kanojo no Tomodachi Details & Synopsis
Jura wrote and illustrated the Kanojo no Tomodachi manga. Kodansha’s YanMaga Web has serialized the manga since its May 2021 debut. Comic Days and Magazine Pocket also serialized My Friend’s Girlfriend. The series currently has eight chapters.
Kanojo no Tomodachi focuses on the romantic life of Takeru Hidaka, a student who aspires to be a doctor and has recently been accepted into medical school.
On the surface, Takeru’s life seems enviable; he’s proficient at his studies, well-liked, and loved by his girlfriend Kaori Koga. But underneath it, Takeru has always been overtly affectionate of Kaori’s friend, Tomoko Yoshioka. Yet, once Kaori asked him out, his love for Tomoko never came to fruition. But to Takeru’s surprise, Tomoko is not only interested in him, but she also begins to seduce him every chance she gets. Initially, he declines her advances. But how long can he continue to turn away a girl that he finds maddeningly appealing?
