My Girlfriend’s Friend Anime Main Trailer, New Visual, Cast, October 4 Premiere

My Girlfriend’s Friend anime revealed the main trailer, along with new cast, visual, and an October 4, 2026 premiere. The TV anime adaptation of Jura’s manga w and third key visual have also been released, along with additional cast details. Studio Quad (My Life as Inukai-san’s Dog) was previously confirmed for the animation production. The series will be released in both an On-Air Version and a fully uncensored “Complete Deregula Version.”

The newly announced cast members are Riho Sugiyama as Miyuki and Ryoka Yuzuki as Kaori’s mother. Known members now include:

• Ryuga Nagaike as Takeru Hidaka
• Sayaka Hashi as Kaori Koga
• Miki Hase as Tomoko Yoshida
• Riho Sugiyama as Miyuki (NEW)
• Ryoka Yuzuki as Kaori’s mother (NEW)

Airots performs the opening theme “Gingira,” with lyrics by Occhoko Bunny and composition and arrangement by Kotaro Odaka and Saeto Kato. Ceui performs the ending theme “False Love,” written by UiNA and composed and arranged by Kotaro Odaka and Takayuki Ishikura. You can watch the new trailer below.

The anime’s official X account also unveiled the third key visual, as well as a planned Blu-ray release.

My Girlfriend’s Friend follows Takeru, who gets his first girlfriend, Kaori, only to find himself increasingly drawn into a dangerous relationship with her friend Tomoko. Takashi Ando is directing the anime at Quad. The full staff credits include:
