Kazuma is really in his popular phase, as KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World Season 3 once again won the title of the Best Anime of the Week in Anime Corner’s weekly polls. With two back-to-back wins, the KonoSuba gang is showing off their strengths. Or, at the very least, they’re showing off their ability to entertain. because saying anyone in that group has “strengths” is a bit of an exaggeration. With 6.94% of the weekly votes, Konosuba again trumped the other shows of the season, with Date A Live V securing second place and Unnamed Memory taking third.
A total of 9,681 fans voted in this week’s poll. That means approximately 672 people endorse the KonoSuba gang’s behavior. That’s 1 in 14! And if you want to be popular in real life, now you know what to do. Just emulate Kazuma and the gang, and 1 in 14 people will adore you! It might not get you a first-place award from our website, but maybe it will get you a felony. And that’s kind of the same thing, isn’t it?
Based on the novel by Natsume Akatsuki, and currently animated by Studio Drive, if KonoSuba anime had a more honest name it would be “That Time I Got Reincarnated With a Useless Goddess, a Masochist, and a Loli Terrorist” because that’s the life that Kazuma Saitou is doomed to live. They say karma catches up to you in another life, and if what weebs get is what he got, many of us are screwed.
