The official Twitter account for Kunoichi Tsubaki no Mune no Uchi (Inside Tsubaki Kunoichi’s Heart) confirmed that a TV anime adaptation is coming in 2022. It’s another manga by Sōichirō Yamamoto, who also wrote Teasing Master Takagi-san, as well as When Will Ayumu Make His Move. Interesingly enough, all 3 will have an anime in 2022, with Takagi having a season 3 and a movie, while the other 2 will have their first seasons. They’ve released a teaser trailer:

Kunoichi Tsubaki no Mune no Uchi TV anime has cast Yuuko Natsuyoshi as the main character Tsubaki. She previously voiced Sasha Necron in Misfit of the Demon King Academy. The studio in charge is CloverWorks, and some of the production staff:
- Takudai Kakuchi – Director
- Konomi Shugo – Writing and script supervision
- Yousuke Okuda – Character design and animation direction.
- Yuusuke Shirato – Soundtrack
The isolationist Akane Clan, composed of an all-girls body mainly consisting of young kunoichi in training, has a code to which they all must adhere: As men are dangerous beings, interacting with them is forbidden.
