The Japanese studio Kyoto Animation has issued a warning to its followers against fake websites using its name. They clarify that the only real website is https://www.kyotoanimation.co.jp, so fans should be careful to check the website’s URL before clicking to it. The full statement reads:

“Recently, we have confirmed the existence of websites that use our company name but are not affiliated with us in any way. Please be cautious.
If you notice anything suspicious, please check the address of the website in question.
The address of the website operated by our company are as follows:

Kyoto Animation (also known as KyoAni) was founded in 1985 by Hideaki and Yoko Hatta, who are still acting as president and vice-president. Since then, the show has become known for animating many popular franchises. Some of their well-known works include The Melancholy of Haruhi SuzumiyaClannadK-On!NichijouHyouka, Violet Evergarden, Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid, Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions, A Silent Voice, among many others.

This July, a special monument dedicated to the victims of the 2019 arson attack was unveiled in the Historical Park of Green Tea and Uji Town.

The studio also announced two anime projects for 2025, including a Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid movie and the anime adaptation of Keiichi Arawi’s CITY manga.
