The upcoming Loving Yamada at Lv999 anime has released four visuals depicting the main characters of the show. The anime is set to premiere in April this year. Morio Asaka is directing at studio MADHOUSE.
The characters announced include Inori Minase as Akane Kinoshita, Koki Uchiyama as Akito Yamada, Natsuki Hanae as Eita Sasaki, and Ai Kakuma as Runa Sasaki. Yasuhiro Nakanishi is in charge of the anime script and Kunihiko Hamada is the character designer.
A pre-screening event of the Loving Yamada at Lvl999 anime cast will be held at United Cinemas Aqua City Odaiba in Tokyo on March 25. There will be also an advance screening of the first episode.
Mashiro writes and draws the Loving Yamada at Lv999! manga series, which was licensed in English by Mangamo. They describe the story as:
Recently dumped, Akane is just about to quit the game she used to play with her boyfriend, when she meets Yamada in the same RPG. Yamada in real life turns out to be somewhat of a legend. The only problem is – he is ONLY interested in the game. As Akane’s feelings grow, will Yamada’s focus stay on the game?
