MANGA Plus by SHUEISHA has launched a new feature that allows users to create officially printed T-shirts using selected manga pages from its platform.
According to the announcement, users can select a page directly on the platform, regardless of language version, and generate a custom T-shirt featuring that page. The printed design uses the original Japanese artwork and text.
The release states:
“With this feature, users can select a manga page directly on the platform from any language and create a custom T-shirt featuring that page. The designs are printed in Japan and will be the original Japanese artwork and text, offering fans a new way to enjoy manga beyond the screen. The printed Japanese version is the very first version published. This means they’re the magazine version if they’re a Weekly Shonen Jump titles such as ONE PIECE and Sakamoto Days. These magazine versions may include promotional text or differ slightly from the translated versions.”
As of February 16, 2026, the feature supports more than 270 manga titles, including ongoing series such as SPY x FAMILY and Dandadan, as well as completed works like My Hero Academia, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Kaiju No. 8.
The announcement clarifies that page eligibility is limited:
“However, page selection is limited to eligible pages within supported titles and chapters. Certain titles, chapters, and pages may not be selectable. Selectable pages are marked with a ‘Create’ icon in the bottom right.”
The T-shirt maker feature is available on both web and app for users worldwide, excluding Japan, China, and Korea. After selecting a page, users are directed to an external checkout to choose T-shirt color and size and complete the purchase.
Available options include four colors: white, black, navy, and grey, and six sizes: S, M, L, XL, XXL, and XXXL. Pricing is listed as $39.99 USD plus shipping and other applicable fees depending on the country or region.
Yuta Momiyama, Shonen Jump+ Editor-in-Chief, commented:
“We’re very excited to have this feature available for the MANGA Plus fans! This feature is similar to the one we have here in Japan, and I believe it’s a really fun way to show your support for a manga you like. It’s really wonderful to live in an era where there are so many ways you can express yourself and the love you have for something. I hope that these T-shirts give people a new way to connect with manga and the stories they love. The T-shirts are made to order in Japan, so depending on your location, it could take a little while for it to get to you, but maybe you can enjoy waiting for your T-shirt while re-reading your favorite story!” MANGA Plus_T-shirt Maker PR_EN
The T-Shirt Maker feature is operated in partnership with Tokyo Otaku Mode, which manages order processing and shipping.
The FAQ section states:
“Certain exclusions apply; however, eligibility is generally based on titles and chapters published in Weekly Shonen Jump and Shonen Jump+ from December 2017 onward. This means that chapters that were published in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in Japan from December 2017 onward, and chapters published in the Shonen Jump+ platform from December 2017 onward.” MANGA Plus_T-shirt Maker PR_EN
