Just like last year, our favorite Jujutsu Sorcerer still gets a lot of appreciation. His fans are again celebrating the character’s birthday in 2021, and MAPPA released a special illustration for the birthday of Gojo Satoru (December 7). You can see the cool illustration below:

The characters besides Gojo in the birthday illustration are Panda, Inumaki Toge, Okkotsu Yuta and Zenin Maki. They will all be present in the upcoming JUJUTSU KAISEN 0 Movie. You can watch the trailer for the movie:
It is a prequel focusing on Yuta and Rika. It covers Volume 0 of the manga, which VIZ describes as:
Yuta Okkotsu is a nervous high school student who is suffering from a serious problem. His childhood friend Rika has turned into a Curse and won’t leave him alone. Since Rika is no ordinary Curse, his plight is noticed by Satoru Gojo, a teacher at Jujutsu High, a school where fledgling exorcists learn how to combat Curses. Gojo convinces Yuta to enroll, but can he learn enough in time to confront the Curse that haunts him?

The Jujutsu Kaisen manga recently exceeded 60 million copies in circulation. It began serialization in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump in March 2018, and it has 17 volumes as of October 4, 2021. While we wait for the movie’s international release date, you can read the manga on MANGA Plus or VIZ.
