The previously announced BIRDIE WING -Golf Girls’ Story- original anime has received a trailer, along with the first cast information. The series will air in 2022. You can watch the video below:
The video features the main cast of the series: Akari Kito (Eve), Asami Seto (Aoi Amawashi), Ami Koshimizu (Amane Shinjo), Akira Sekine (Lily Lipman), Toru Furuya (Reiya Amuro), and Shuichi Ikeda (Leo Millafoden).
BIRDIE WING is the first-ever original anime with the theme of women’s golf. Takayuki Inagaki (Rosario + Vampire) will direct the series, while Bandai Namco Pictures (Gintama) will take care of the animation.
Nafres, a country in Europe. Golf prodigy Eve spends her days betting on golf to earn a living.
One day, she has a fateful encounter with Aoi Amawashi, the daughter of the owner of a large corporation and an elite golf player. The two are both geniuses, but, they live in a completely different worlds. Eve, the “Rainbow Bullet”, and Aoi, the “Innocent Tyrant” both genuinely enjoy golf without being pressured. The two are attracted to each other, influenced by each other, and also change each other.
