Medalist anime revealed the creditless opening video ahead of today’s Episode 2, showing more of the song “BOW AND ARROW” by Kenshi Yonezu. Studio ENGI is in charge of the animation, and the anime premiered on January 4, 2025.
The opening was previewed in the last trailer, while you can watch the opening below.
The ending theme song is “Atashi no Dress” (“My Dress”) by neguse. It was previewed in the third trailer for the anime.

Yasutaka Yamamoto is directing the Medalist anime, with Chinatsu Kameyama as the character designer and Jukki Hanada in charge of the series composition and screenplay.
Medalist is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tsurumaikada. It has been serialized in Kodansha’s Monthly Afternoon since May 2020, and it has eleven compiled volumes as of August 2024. The manga series also won at the 68th Shogakukan Manga Award for the general category. Kodansha licensed it in English, and they’ve been releasing it since May 2021. They describe the story:
Tsukasa, whose dreams were crushed. Inori, left to fend for herself. These two share a dream…and their tenacity may be the only thing that sees them through. Their destination? The ice…on the world’s stage!
