Medialink Group Limited, the distributor behind the free-to-watch Ani-One Asia YouTube channel, will be officially launching Ani-One Philippines (PH) on September 16 at The Best of Anime 2023. Ani-One’s newest sub-channel will be dedicated to providing exclusive anime treats for its ever-loyal Filipino fans, especially new programs that are in near-simulcast with Japan’s TV broadcast.
While its original channel streams with English subtitles, Ani-One PH will also be featuring burned-in Filipino subtitles. Some of the titles to look forward to are Code Geass, So I’m a Spider, So What?, Miss Kuroitsu from the Monster Development Department, Millionaire Detective Balance UNLIMITED, Strongest Sage with the Weakest Crest, and other isekai favorites like The Fruit of Evolution and Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World. In addition, the channel plans to stream Filipino-dubbed versions and locally produced shows in the future.
As of writing, the Ani-One PH YouTube page is already available to subscribe to, but has no anime contents uploaded yet. It’s official launching will take place at the local anime event, The Best of Anime (BOA) 2023, on September 16 at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City. As the main sponsor of the event, Ani-One PH will be offering exciting giveaways and merchandise at their booths and will also be making special stage appearances.
