Mission: Yozakura Family anime revealed a new key visual and trailer for its 2nd cour, which will be continuing in the Summer 2024 season. Studio SILVER LINK is animating, and the anime is streaming on Hulu in the US and Disney+ worldwide. It is set to run for a total of 27 episodes. You can watch the new trailer below.
The theme songs are “Secret Operation” by fripSide feat. Yoshino Nanjo as the opening and “Kekkon Koshinkyoku” by ASOBI Doumei as the ending.
Mission: Yozakura Family is japanese manga by Hitsuji Gondaira, and it has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump since 2019. VIZ Media is publishing the manga in English, and they describe the story:
Taiyo Asano is a super-shy high school student and the only person he can talk to is his childhood friend Mutsumi Yozakura. However, Mutsumi comes from a line of master spies with amazing powers. Her oldest brother, Kyoichiro, is obsessed with Mutsumi and out to kill anyone who gets remotely near her—and his next target is Taiyo! The only way for Taiyo to save himself from Kyoichiro’s murderous clutches is to marry Mutsumi!
