Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury Season 2 released a trailer on Friday. The series also revealed the opening theme song titled “slash” by the Japanese singer yama. The said song can be heard in the sequels’ latest trailer and the second season is slated to premiere on April 9.
The anime previously revealed a teaser visual for the upcoming sequel. Studio Sunrise is producing Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury which premiered in October 2022 and concluded its first season with the 12th episode in January 2023. Hiroshi Kobayashi is directing the anime while Ichiro Okuchi is writing the series composition. Marie Tagashira, Hirotoshi Takaya, and Juri Toida are illustrating the character design while Takasi Omama is composing the music.
Kana Ichinose voices the main character Suletta Mercury, while Lynn is playing the role of Miorine Rembran. The series recently announced that voice actress Yume Miyamoto will return as Nika Nanaura, following her temporary hiatus due to health issues. The rest of the cast includes:

- Miyu Tomita as Panlunch Chuatury
- Hanae Natsuki as Elan Ceres
- Makoto Furukawa as Shaddiq Zenelli
- Mamiko Noto as Prospera Mercury
Crunchyroll and Ani-One Asia are streaming the anime and the former describes the plot as:
A.S. (Ad Stella) 122― An era when a multitude of corporations have entered space and built a huge economic system. A lone girl from the remote planet Mercury transfers to the Asticassia School of Technology, run by the Beneritt Group which dominates the mobile suit industry. Her name is Suletta Mercury. With a scarlet light burning in her pure heart, this girl walks step by step through a new world.
