The previously announced Monsters anime received a new key visual. It was also revealed that the anime will begin streaming on Netflix in January 2024. The anime is officially titled “MONSTERS: 103 Mercies Dragon Damnation“. Sunghoo Park is directing the series, and E&H Production Studio is in charge of animation.
The new Monsters key visual features Ryuma and the dragon, which was also seen in the previous key visual. It also features the two other important characters: Flare and Cyrano. All of the characters (+ D.R.) received visuals:
Monsters is based on the one-shot manga by Eiichiro Oda, which follows the story of the legendary swordsman, Ryuma. Ryuma is from the Land of Wano in One Piece, and the story is officially canon. It’s worth noting that the manga received a voiced version in 2021, which featured Yoshimasa Hosoya as Ryuma, Sakamoto Maaya as Flare, Otsuka Hochu as Cyrano, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as D.R., and Terashima Takuma as Bartender.
