Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 has released the preview images for episode 1 “Depressed Magician.” Rudy will be appearing this week, and he is predictably feeling down after what happened with Eris. Check out the preview images via the official Twitter account for the franchise:
The official website describes the synopsis for the episode:
Rudeus set out to find his mother, Zenith. However, he is unable to escape from the depths of his disappointment from when Eris disappeared. On a carriage ride to the northern lands, Rudeus meets Sara and Suzanne from the adventurer party “Counter Arrow” and joins them to fulfill a request from the Adventurers’ Guild.
Episode 1 of Mushoku Tensei Season 2 will premiere next Sunday on July 9. Studio Bind returned to animate the sequel. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime, and they describe the story:
When a 34-year-old underachiever gets run over by a truck, his story doesn’t end there.
