The first season of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation aired over 2 cours during the Winter 2021 and Fall 2021 anime seasons for a total of 23 episodes. The first part was voted the best new anime (only behind AoT), while the 2nd part was the best overall anime in their respective seasons. It was also the 2021 anime of the year. The anime is based on a light novel by Rifujin na Magonote with Shirotaka’s illustrations.

Seven Seas is publishing the light novel in English, while Crunchyroll streams the anime. The latter describes the story:
When a 34-year-old underachiever gets run over by a truck, his story doesn’t end there. Reincarnated in a new world as an infant, Rudy will seize every opportunity to live the life he’s always wanted. Armed with new friends, some freshly acquired magical abilities, and the courage to do the things he’s always dreamed of, he’s embarking on an epic adventure—with all of his past experience intact!
