Mushoku Tensei Voted As The Best New Anime of the Winter 2021 Season

Anime Corner Author

The Winter 2021 anime season is officially behind us, and Mushoku Tensei was voted as the best new anime of the season by our fans! There were high expectations from the start, and Studio Bind delivered an amazing debut for the isekai’s anime debut. In one of the most stacked seasons ever, it managed to take 8.66% of the total score! The score was calculated based on its performance throughout the season, as well as the votes it got in the final “Anime of the Season” poll. This is the season that had Attack on Titan Season 4, Re:Zero Season 2 Part 2, Tensura Season 2 Part 1, among many others!

Anime of the Season Winter 2021 Top 10 – Mushoku Tensei ranked 2nd overall, best new anime

As mentioned before, Studio Bind was founded mainly to produce the anime. The story has just started, but the animation and world building were enough to get many fans hooked. It was frequently ranked in top 3 shows this season, and the first time it got serious, it took the #1 spot over from Attack on Titan. Those results blew up on Facebook, and it also took the top when Attack on Titan was absent. Its AotS ranking is hardly surprising with the popularity it garnered.

The good thing is that this was only the first cour. We will get part 2 in Summer 2021 (July), and it will be 12 more episodes. Roxy is also making her return, and the story will only be getting better! In case you haven’t seen it yet, you can read the synopsis and maybe check it out:

When a 34-year-old underachiever gets run over by a bus, his story doesn’t end there. Reincarnated in a new world as an infant, Rudy will seize every opportunity to live the life he’s always wanted. Armed with new friends, some freshly acquired magical abilities, and the courage to do the things he’s always dreamed of, he’s embarking on an epic adventure—with all of his past experience intact!

It’s available on Funimation, and it’s definitely worth a watch!
