The upcoming game titled “Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation – Quest of Memories” has announced its official global (except China) launch date of June 20, 2024. The game will be available for PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and Steam consoles where players can experience one of the best stories in all of anime in a much more immersive manner. See its most recent trailer below:
Life’s a sad affair, you get told to work until you reach retirement. By then, your knees don’t work your back is as crooked as an NTR doujin, and middle age was approximately 20/30 years ago (don’t let them lie to you, 35 is middle-aged). It’s hard to put some excitement in life. Traveling always gets more expensive, your paycheck doesn’t cover luxuries, and HIDIVE isn’t available outside of the US. So, what can you do? You can pretend to be Rudy and explore the demon continent with a Superd and a hot-headed tsundere that light novel bros assure will one day be a hottie.
Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation – Quest of Memories promises to be an exploration/battle-type game where not only can you relieve the anime-depicted adventures of the Dead End party, but you can also enjoy all-new quests bringing original characters and anime-omitted content. Players will even have the option to see the adventures of Roxy, Talhand, and Elinalise. Something anime viewers and light novel readers never got to see animated.
The single-player game is brought to you by Bushiroad Games (RIP SIFAS) and depending on the version will vary in cost from:
- Limited PS4 & PS5 Version – ¥9,680 (~ 63 USD )
- Regular Physical Version – ¥6,380 (~ 42 USD)
- Steam Digital Version – ¥6,380 (~ 42 USD)
Heralded as the “Grandfather of Isekais,” Mushoku Tensei is a work in a class all its own. From the complex and excellently written characters, polarizing take on social norms, and finely crafted world-building. The story follows Rudeus Greyrat, a now reincarnated dead-beat who has been given another chance at life and decides that he’s going to have the best second go he can personally have. But one day, a disastrous magical event teleports him and a friend to the Demon Continent, and together with the Superd Ruijerd, he sets out to find a home.
