The anime adaptation of My Instant Death Ability Is So Overpowered, No One in This Other World Stands a Chance Against Me by studio Okuruto Noboru (Tomodachi Game) has revealed its first trailer, as well as additional cast announcements. Joining the cast are:
- Rina Sato (Misaka Mikoto in A Certain Magical Index) as Lain
- Hiro Shimono (Conny Springer in Attack on Titan) as Daimon Hanakawa
- Yoshiki Murakami (Kaho Funatsu in Yowamushi Pedal) as Yuki Tachibana
- Lynn (Princess Hibana in Fire Force) as Asaka Takatoi
My Instant Death Ability Is So Overpowered announced an anime adaptation in December 2022 and will have an early premiere at HIDIVE’s panel at Anime NYC on November 17, 2023. The anime formally is slated for January 2024. The My Instant Death Ability Is So Overpowered teaser trailer and key visual for the series were revealed in August. As previously announced, Miyu Tomita voices Tomochika, Koki Uchiyama voices Yogiri, Yui Horie voices Sion, and Tomoko Kaneda voices Mokomoko. Masakazu Hishida will direct the series while Jou Aoba is in charge of the series composition. Sayuri Sakimoto does the character designs.
Tsuyoshi Fujitaka’s My Instant Death Ability Is So Overpowered was first self-published on Shosetsuka ni Narou in February 2016 before being picked up by Earth Star Entertainment in October 2016. Chisato Naruse joined as an illustrator and 14 volumes were released before the light novel series ended in March 2023. A manga adaptation illustrated by Hanamaru Nanto began serialization in March 2018 in Earth Star Entertainment’s Comic Earth Star. J-Novel Club and Yen Press (print version) license the novel for North America.

Awaking to absolute chaos and carnage while on a school trip, Yogiri Takatou discovers that everyone in his class has been transported to another world!
