The previously announced NEET Kunoichi to Nazeka Dousei Hajimemashita anime adaptation has released a special visual featuring the main character Shizuri Ideura in her ninja form. The visual was released in commemoration of Ninja Day in Japan, celebrated on February 22.
Studio Quad (My Life as Inukai-san’s Dog, Our Rainy Protocol) is animating the adaptation under the direction of Hisashi Saito. Takashi Aoshima is doing the series composition, while Masahiko Suzuki is designing the characters and CMJK composing the music. The main cast includes Hinaki Yano as Shizuri Ideura and Shouya Ishige as Tsukasa Atsumi. Shigeru Chiba will narrate the anime adaptation.
The NEET Kunoichi to Nazeka Dousei Hajimemashita anime is based on a manga series written and drawn by Kotatsu, with Mato Yakito as the storyboard assistant. It first began serialization on Niconico Douga and Twitter in 2020. It was later acquired by KADOKAWA, which publishes it under its Dengeki Comics EX label.
The series follows the story of Tsukasa Astumi, a normal salaryman, who was suddenly attacked by a monster and gallantly saved by Shizuri Ideura, a shinobi. However, when Shizuri is not working, she becomes an otaku NEET. The story will progress as Tsukasa’s househusband skills spoil Shizuri.
