One Piece Manga Celebrates 10,000 Days of Serialization Today, December 7, 2024

ONE PIECE manga is celebrating 10,000 days of serialization today, December 7, 2024. The iconic manga by Eiichiro Oda began on July 22, 1997, with a total of 1032 chapters and 110 volumes released so far. To commemorate the 10,000 days anniversary, a special illustration was released.

Eiichiro Oda began ONE PIECE in 1997, and it is still going strong in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump. The manga entered its final saga on July 25, 2022, while it exceeded 500 million circulating copies in August of the same year. Oda’s previous estimate for the manga ending was 4-5 years, which is what he said back in August 2020. Prior to that, he said that he wanted to end the manga in 5 years back in September 2019.

ONE PIECE anime is currently celebrating its 25th anniversary with several projects and collaborations. Some of them were the Las Vegas take over, a T-Shirt collaboration with UNIQLOa gaming chair collection with TTRacinga special recap video, among many others.

There is also the upcoming remake by WIT Studio, as well as the 2nd season of the live-action series, which recently revealed the first look at Chopper and Drum Island.

ONE PIECE Episode 1123 & Chapter 1133 Release Date

Episode 1123 of the anime is expected to premiere on March 30, 2025, following the ongoing hiatus. The special edited version of the Fish-Man Island Saga is now airing in its place weekly.

The ONE PIECE manga will release Chapter 1033 on December 8. You can watch the anime on Crunchyroll and Netflix, while you can catch up to the latest manga chapter for free on either the VIZ website or the MANGA Plus website.
