Oshi no Ko anime revealed a new visual which features all the members of the new B-Komachi group right after episode 9 aired in Japan. It features three members of the group: Ruby Hoshino, Kana Arima, and Mem-cho.
Additionally, the anime’s official YouTube channel has released the video of the insert song “Full moon…!,” which could be heard at the end of the latest episode. Kana Arima (Megumi Han) performed the song. Another insert song video by Kana, titled “Piiman Taiso,” was also uploaded.
Studio Doga Kobo (Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie) is animating the series. Character designer Kanna Hirayama (Rent-a-Girlfriend) unveiled a commemorative illustration of episode 9 that features the reflection of Kana Arima holding an umbrella.
Oshi no Ko anime is available to stream on HIDIVE, Ani-One Asia ULTRA, Bilibili, and Netflix. Bilibili describes the plot of the series as follows:
In the entertainment industry, lying is the weapon. Every day, Goro, an obstetrician and gynecologist who works in a small city, leads a life unrelated to the entertainment business. Yet, the idol Hoshino Ai that he “followed” started to move up the list of stars. Such two realized their worst-case scenario, and from that point on, the wheels of fate started to turn.
Anime is one of the biggest trends this season. A few weeks ago fans got to see a video of bodybuilder Yokokawa dancing to Pieyon’s Boot Dance with Ruby Hoshino’s voice actress, Yurie Igoma.
