Oshi no Ko Season 2 unveiled the preview of episode 6 on Monday. Ciao Nekotomi (Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian opening) is directing and doing the storyboard for the episode with Jin Tanaka (Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club) writing the script. Satomi Watabe (Aikatsu! Season 3) is credited as the chief animation director. The episode is set to premiere on Wednesday, August 10.
Studio Doga Kobo (Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie) is animating the sequel while Daisuke Hiramaki (Selection Project) returns as director and Kana Hirayama (Rent-A-Girlfriend) as the character designer. GEMN is performing the opening song “Fatal” while Hitsujibungaku is singing the anime’s ending theme, “Burning.”

The TV anime adaptation is based on the manga series written by Aka Akasaka (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) and illustrated by Mengo Yokari (Scum’s Wish). Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump has been serializing the series since April 2020. HIDIVE is streaming the series and they describe it as:
Dr. Goro is reborn as the son of the young starlet Ai Hoshino after her delusional stalker murders him. Now, he wants to help his new mother rise to the top, but what can a child do about the dark underbelly of the entertainment industry?
