The upcoming anime series Pretty Boy Detective Club released its 2nd promotional video on March 13, 2021. The TV anime is slated to premiere on April 10 and will be produced by Studio SHAFT under the direction of Hajime Ohtani.
Additionally, the series also revealed three cast members, new staff members, and the opening theme song.

The opening theme song of the series will be performed by sumika titled “Shake & Shake.” Sumika also performed the opening theme song for the anime series Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku, as well as the soundtracks for the dramatic anime film I Want to Eat your Pancreas.
Light Novel and Manga
The anime series Pretty Boy Detective Club is an anime adaptation of the light novel series written by Nisio Isin and illustrated by Kinako. Kodansha is currently publishing the series in its original text while Vertical is publishing the series in English.
Suzuka Oda launched a manga adaptation of the novels in Kodansha’s ARIA magazine in April 2016. As the ARIA magazine ceased publication in April 2018, the manga moved to Shonen Magazine Edge in October of the same year.
Fun fact: Nisio Isin also wrote the all-time famous Monogatari series, which also had its anime adaptation produced by Shaft too!
