PSYREN Anime Reveals New Visual, Trailer, Theme Song, Voice Cast

The upcoming PSYREN anime revealed a new trailer, key visual, and cast ahead of the show’s October 5, 2026 premiere. It was also previously confirmed that it will be a complete adaptation, covering the entirety of the story. The anime will stream on Crunchyroll worldwide excluding Japan and Russia (IVI will stream it in Russia).

The main voice cast includes Rikuya Yasuda as protagonist Ageha Yoshina and Mayuko Kazama as Sakurako Amamiya. They are supported by Shunsuke Takeuchi as Hiryu Asaga, Soma Saito as Oboro Mochizuki, and Yukihiro Nozuyama as Kabuto Kirisaki. Today, two additional members were announced:

• Yuhko Kaida as Matsuri Yagumo, Sakurako Amamiya’s mentor
• Nobuyuki Hiyama as Dolkey, an enemy who stands in the way of Ageha and the others

The voice actors commented on their roles:

I’m Yuhko Kaida, the voice of Matsuri Yagumo. Just watching the trailer is enough to get me incredibly excited! Recording has been an absolute blast, working alongside such an amazing staff and talented cast. Matsuri may love her drinks, but she’s also a dependable, big-sister type, and I’m having a fantastic time giving the role everything I’ve got. After nearly 15 years, Ageha and the others’ game is finally set in motion. Let’s uncover the mysteries of the world of PSYREN together!

PSYREN was originally serialized quite some time ago, and now, after all these years, it’s finally getting an anime adaptation. You can really feel the power this series has! Dolkey, the character I play, is—in a way—a pretty straightforward villain!! I absolutely love playing characters like him, so I was able to really throw myself into his direct confrontations with the protagonists. I hope you’ll enjoy seeing that side of him in action!!

The opening theme is “WARNING!!” by three-member unit CLAN QUEEN!, and you can hear a preview in the new trailer below.

The series is described as follows:

One day, high schooler Ageha Yoshina picks up a mysterious “red phone card” left behind in a public telephone booth. A few days later, his childhood friend and classmate, Sakurako Amamiya—who possessed the same card—suddenly vanishes without a trace. In search of her, Ageha finds himself drawn into the rumors surrounding a nationwide string of mysterious disappearances, said to be the work of a secret organization known only as “Psyren.” When he accesses the group, a deadly game begins—one that will change his fate forever.
