Episode 8 of the “Remake Our Life” anime series finally premiered and we witnessed a huge plot twist in Kyoya’s story! Moreover, Team Kitayama’s game is already finished, and was it successful? Please make sure you have watched the episode before reading this spoiler-filled content.
This week’s episode had lots of twists and turns that we never expected to happen. People were left with dozens of questions after watching this episode so better prepare yourself!
Pursue. Adjust. Succeed.
With everyone from Team Kitayama being able to focus, their game development is at its final stretch! Kyoya made sure that they won’t be making the same mistakes he did in his past life, so he had to adjust and compromise.
Tsurayuki was against it at first but Kyoya managed to convince him. Meanwhile, Shinoaki had a wonderful idea but Kyoya had to decline it because of their limited time. He kept interfering with the member’s idea; would this be a good thing or would it affect the future?
With all questions aside, Team Kitayama was actually able to finish the game on time and it became a huge success! They were able to sell copies to a lot of people and in turn, they had their fair share of hard-earned money. With this, Tsurayuki’s problems can finally be fixed, as if.
Everything Changes
After receiving the member’s share of income, Tsurayuki suddenly invited Kyoya for a walk. It’s all sunshine and happiness until Tsurayuki blurted out that he’ll stop going to school even though Team Kitayama worked hard to help him.
The reason why he decided to is because of Kyoya’s presence. He thought that Kyoya can always do the impossible all by himself, and he lost his purpose. He even said that he’ll be using his hometown and Kyouya’s name for his penname – Kawagoe Kyouichi.
Kawagoe is a city in Saitama prefecture in Japan. Meanwhile, Kyouichi came from Kyouya, and ichi meaning one. It basically meant Kyouya number one!
But all of that went to dust as Tsurayuki left and Kyouya realized that he already changed their lives. He thought to himself that they were already successful without him around; so was his presence actually a burden?
Into the Deeper Future
While Kyouya was down on his knees on the ground, it started raining, Keiko-san appeared out of nowhere and questioned him. What could be the reason behind Keiko showing up and questioning Kyouya out of nowhere?
Is that how it’s going to be? I wonder what would happen in the future at this rate.
Keiko-san
After that climactic meeting with Keiko-san, Kyouya woke up without having any idea where he is. Afterward, a little girl came running to him shouting “Daddy”! What’s more, is that this little girl resembles Shinoaki but is younger.
Until she called out her mom, and you guessed it right, Shinoaki was the mother after all! Kyouya woke up into the deeper future of what would happen at that rate like Keiko-san asked. And there he is, lying on the bed with an adorable daughter and a charming wife!
