Re:ZERO: Starting Life in Another World Season 3 premiere joins the list of upcoming leaked anime titles. The first episode of the season was shared on numerous pirate websites earlier today, including some of the most popular anime torrent trackers. Unlike yesterday’s DAN DA DAN and Ranma 1/2 remake leaks, Re:Zero was uploaded in a much better quality with French subtitles.
The 90-minute premiere of Re:ZERO: Starting Life in Another World Season 3 with French subtitles was scheduled to be screened by Crunchyroll on July 11 at the Japan Expo in Paris; the screening was canceled for reasons beyond “Crunchyroll’s control.” The leaked video bears the “Japan Expo 2024” watermark in the upper left corner. Prior to the Japan Expo, Crunchyroll’s Tower of God Season 2 premiere screener was leaked in a similar manner right after its premiere at Anime Expo 2024.
In April of this year, several titles from the Crunchyroll’s Spring 2024 lineup were also leaked. KonoSuba – God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! Season 3, Sound! Euphonium Season 3, As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I’ll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World, and more were out before their official release dates. All of the titles were screened during the Puerto Rico Comic Con.
This leak appears to be unrelated to DAN DA DAN and Ranma 1/2. While multiple episodes of these shows appeared online, they were of much worse quality and heavily timestamped. Mononoke: Karakasa movie was also uploaded; it premiered in Japan on July 26 but still hasn’t announced its overseas premiere. These three titles appear to have come from Netflix: the two TV anime will stream on the platform while Mononoke movie is seemingly getting a dub through a Netflix dubbing agreement.
