Singer Riria (stylized as Riria.) has released a music video for “Ja ne, mata ne”, the ending theme for the anime film Bubble. Riria also voices one of the main characters Uta in the film.
Riria wrote the lyrics and composed the track, which is also available on the Bubble official soundtrack album. The album was primarily composed by Hiroyuki Sawano and was released in May this year by TOY’S FACTORY.
Riria was also featured on the opening theme song “Bubble” by Eve, as Uta. The music video for the song recently hit over 3.5 million views as of this writing. In addition, a manga adaptation was released in Shonen Jump+ prior to the film’s premiere.
Bubble is currently streaming on Netflix. WIT Studio animated the movie that was directed by Tetsuro Araki. In addition to Riria, cast members include Jun Shison, Yuki Kaji, Alice Hirose, and Sayaka Senbongi who play the roles of Hibiki, Shin, Kai, Makoto, and Usagi respectively.
Netflix describes the plot as follows:
In a Tokyo where gravity has broken, a boy and a girl are drawn to each other… The story is set in Tokyo, after bubbles that broke the laws of gravity rained down upon the world. Cut off from the outside world, Tokyo has become a playground for a group of young people who have lost their families, acting as a battlefield for parkour team battles as they leap from building to building. Hibiki, a young ace known for his dangerous play style, makes a reckless move one day and plummets into the gravity-bending sea. His life is saved by Uta, a girl with mysterious powers. The pair then hear a unique sound audible only to them. Why did Uta appear before Hibiki? Their encounter leads to a revelation that will change the world.
