Ron Kamonohashi: Deranged Detective is getting an anime adaptation, as announced earlier during Jump Festa ’23 panel. A teaser video is available. Diomedéa is animating the adaptation of the manga.
Shota Ibata is directing the anime, with Wataru Watari on series composition. Masakazu Ishikawa is doing the character designs. Yo Tsuji is composing the music and KADOKAWA is credited for music production. Ron Kamonohashi: Deranged Detective is a manga written and illustrated by Akira Amano, best known for her Katekyo Hitman Reborn! and ēlDLIVE series. The information about the anime was revealed during a panel attended by Ayumu Murase, who voiced Chuta Kokonose in ēlDLIVE, Neeko (Katekyo Hitman in Reborn!) and editor of the manga, Momiyama-san.
The manga has been serialized in Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ online magazine since October 2020. There are currently eight volumes out. Shueisha’s MangaPlus app is publishing it in English. New chapters are released every Saturday. The plot is described as:
